Let's Play Bollywood Style! (Tips and Trick!)

Hello gals~ ♥
☆*・゜゚・*\(^O^)/*・゜゚・*☆
I'm finally posting again after some business!

OK. I'll discuss a point that, maybe, a little rare for Japan-lover like me, but it's highly over-discussed by beauty gurus!

Know who is this sweet woman?

Sometimes, when I watch a bollywood movie, I wonder that Indian woman has her own beauty magia. Sweet light-colored eyes (sometimes dark, too), with kala kajal (black eyeliner!), defined facial feature, good-shaped hair, and of course its fashion that has been so popular on the entire world! o(〃^▽^〃)o

So here, I will discuss about :
1. Makeup
2. Hairdo, and
3. Fashion

So let's start! ヽ(゚◇゚ )ノ

1. Makeup

Yes, India has a lot of style of makeup matching, but I want to take a role model, and she is Rani Mukherjee (yes, the sweet woman on the pic above!)

Why did I choose her? Yes, because her makeup is simply so amazing, matte-looking, and her smokey eyes is a touch up of magic on her eye! She is the Queen of Smokey Eye! (*゜▽゜ノノ゛☆ For those who doesn't want to dull her eye, she's the best role model for you!
And, here, I will give some secrets and tips about Bollywood makeup :

SKIN
-Matte looking please! But also a little bronzing! Apply foundie (powder or cream), and apply bronzer. After that, apply matte powder to matte-izing your skin~ glowing but also matte :3 if you have uneven skin, you may use concealer too!

EYES
- Make sure you DEFINE your eyebrows! It's a must! Defined and bold eyebrow is the main point to define your facial features! I recommend to use the brown one, and re-define its color with brown matte eyeshadow.

-Nah, this is for Asian eyes like me. I have almond-shaped, fish-eye eyes. So it's rather hard to pull out a style of Indian eyes on me. But you can make it! Just concentrate with contouring and highlighting your eyelid! First, apply matte brown eyeshadow on your entire eyelid. contour your corner of eyelid (near to the nose) with darker color (I used brownish grey). Create smokey eyes (you can search it on the internet!) and highlight your eyebrow bone. So your eyes will pop on. Oh! Don't forget to use earth-toned color!

-If you can, wear a light-toned circle lenses that natural and doesn't enlarging! (I recommend 4-tone Neo Cosmo or Eye Candy Belle) but it's optional. Lot of Indian women have dark-toned iris too.

-Lashes are very important. Apply voluminous, black, longing mascara or wear natural-look but bold eyelashes.

CONTOURING
Defined, defined facial feature. It's better to keep you on style and beautiful. Make sure to contour your nose and cheek!
BLUSH
You'd better apply these blush color :
And don't ever apply orange-ish blush on. It will be dull to your bronzed skin.

LIPS
-

Nude lipstick and nudy pink lipstick are good choices :) if you want to try more glamorous look, red is also OK but please reduce your intensity of eye makeup! It must be balanced! Heavy eye makeup - nude lips, Light eye makeup - more stunning lip!

2.Hair-do

Girl, you cannot leave hairdo alone! Stunning makeup + stunning hairdo = stunning you! Bollywood stars are always with their voluminous, silky hair, beautiful hair, shiny hair! Perfect hair :3 so... the role model of hair-do section is~~~ (●´ω`●)ゞ

Kareena Kapoor!
We always know that she has best hairdos ever! From the glamorous one, to the casual one, she always does great to her hair! Good job, Kapoorji! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

Yes also we all know that her jaw shape is rather cubical (or what you sayy??) but I'm amazed she can do very great with it!

This is what I quoted from Jolie Aise about Kareena's hair tips!

“I love oiling my hair with a mix of almond, castor, coconut and olive oils,” says Kareena. “I do this once a month. I use a Kerastase shampoo specifically for dry hair, and follow it with a blow-dry.”
Kareena keeps her hair long and layered, colored in a dark chocolate brown or black shade. Celebrity hairstylist Pompy Hans says of Bebo’s preferred hair style: “She prefers bouncy blow-dry for her everyday look. We use good voluminising products like L’Oreal or Tigi. I use a root booster and volume hairspray.” On her off-days, he says, she likes to messily pile her hair up with a rubber band.

For Indonesians, you can use 'Cem-ceman' to keep your heart shiny and healthy! One of my friends use that and her hair is such of a 'Please-Get-Envy-Of-Me'!

3. Fashion

You always know that India is famous for Kurti, Saree, or anything like that! "But it's hard to get it here!" so? I will give you tips to pull out Bollywood Style to your daily fashion! (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ

You can wear ethnic tunic mix-matched by tight jeans/legging/or rather bray trousers :3 you may combine this look by wear a scarf! This is the first option. "But this style is way too mature-ish for me! I'm still a teenager!" this is the second option :

Floral tunic also works too! Same as above, you can mix-match it with legging/bray trousers/tight jeans, also you can combine it with scarf! Beautiful floral pattern ♥~(‘▽^人) "But tunic is hard to find here!" So? Third option!

What? A blouse? What the hell!
Believe it or not, I've tried it many times. ╮(╯▽╰)╭ Pick a long blouse (at least until your thigh) and combine it with rather-bray trouser like this :
And then, you can combine it with ethnic scarf

And for the shoes, flat shoes and sandal is a good option!

What? Boots? WTF!
Yes, you can stay with boots, but pick the earth-toned one, to make it sure :)

You can also enrich your style by wearing some Indian accessories such as :

Bangle

Payal

And after you understand the style, you must be able to enrich the style by yourself, even create your own bollywood-look!

OK this is enough from me~ Whoaaa so long! >.<
Thank you for reading~~

BONUS!
Tried Bollywood style this morning and this was what I got :

Sorry for the low quality :p because of the bad lighting my makeup's intensity was blurred! Awwhh! I posted this pic on my facebook and my friend said "Kareena Sepoor :v" (Sepor means Train in Javanese lol, he used it for joking) \(///Σ///)\
